Appraisal District to Appoint Review Board Members

Hunt County Appraisal District Board to Appoint Review Members Thursday The Hunt County Appraisal District Board of Directors will meet Thursday to appoint new members to the Appraisal Review Board and discuss preliminary property value totals for the year. The board meeting is scheduled for 6 p.m. at the appraisal district office at 4801 King St. in Greenville. The appointment of Appraisal Review Board members represents one of the most significant items on the agenda. The Appraisal Review Board hears appeals from property owners who dispute their property valuations. Board members also will consider updates to the board's policy manual and receive preliminary property value totals from staff. The agenda includes an update on current appeals cases and a report from Chief Appraiser. The meeting is open to the public.
