Nuvia Health Opens Doors in Greenville
Dr. Rehan Yazdani Brings Internal Medicine Practice to Hunt County Community

Dr. Rehan Yazdani has spent years watching corporate medicine squeeze the human element out of healthcare. Productivity targets, shortened visit slots, and metrics that prioritize efficiency over patient outcomes became the norm at the large healthcare systems where he practiced internal medicine.
So when Yazdani and his wife, Dr. Natasha Yazdani, opened Nuvia Health in Greenville last month, they designed their internal medicine practice around a different principle: the patient comes first. 'I wanted to build something where the patient is the priority again,' Yazdani said. 'Where I have time to listen, room to think, and the freedom to do what's right for the person in front of me.'
The husband-wife physician team saw an opportunity in Greenville and Hunt County, where an aging population mixed with working families faces historically limited access to primary care. When people don't have a regular doctor, chronic conditions like diabetes and hypertension go undetected until they become emergencies.
Nuvia Health's approach centers on three core services: preventive care to catch problems early, chronic disease management to keep patients stable, and same-day sick visits to keep minor issues from major ones. The practice accepts Medicare and most commercial insurance plans, with transparent cash pricing for services insurance typically doesn't cover.
What sets Nuvia apart from urgent care clinics or large health system practices is continuity of care. The same team treats patients over time, following up on lab results and adjusting treatment as needs change. 'The biggest difference is continuity,' Yazdani said. 'We know your history, we follow up on your labs, we adjust your treatment as your needs change.'
'Greenville has welcomed us with open arms, and we don't take that for granted,' Yazdani said. 'To anyone in the area who hasn't found a primary care home yet, or who's looking for something different from what they've had — come see us. Our door's open.'
